I know how it is to work as a minority. Discrimination or aggression of any kind are severely prohibited at our work. If you do routinely express such things, you are finished. The company will tell you to go. I have colleagues from all kinds origins, great people to work with. I learn a lot about their customs, culture, and they also are interested in my background. But these people from various walks of life, deal with their own rotten fruits, because it is much easier. If you give the group a bad name, then you must disembark at the next port. Often they resolve those issues mutually, because they do not want that a few idiots give them a bad name. That recently happened. A person was aggressive and language was terrible and very discriminatory. Then his countrymen gave him the advice to leave the workplace as soon as possible and to go home. It can be done like this. In this way the fruits remains healthy and you can blend them without spoiling them. The mix [of cultures] makes a country unique. It is easier for any group to separate the rotten fruit, so the rest of the fruit remains healthy. This system works well in our environment. The text has been edited. Eigenlijk ben ik ook een buitenlander van Nederlanderse afkomst. Ik weet hoe is om als een 'minderheid" te werken. Discriminatie, agressie van elk soort is in onze werkomgeving zwaar verboden. Mocht je dit toch stelselmatig uiten, dan is het zo gedaan met je. De firma geeft je dan een enkele reis. Ik heb collega's van alle soorten pluimages, heerlijke mensen om mee samen te werken. Ik leer veel over hun gewoonten, cultuur en ze hebben ook interesse in mijn afkomst. Maar deze mensen van verscheidene pluimage scheiden hun eigen rotte fruit, omdat dat veel eenvoudiger is. Geef je de groep een slechte naam, dan kan je bij de eerst volgende haven maar beter van boord gaan. Vaak wordt het onderling opgelost want ze willen niet hebben dat een paar idioten hen een slechte naam geven. Dat is onlangs nog gebeurd. Een persoon was vreselijk agressief in taalgebruik en zeer discriminerend. Toen hebben zijn eigen landgenoten hem het advies gegeven om zo snel mogelijk de werkomgeving te verlaten en naar huis te gaan. Zo kan het ook. En door dit soort maatregelen blijft al het fruit gezond en je kan het mixen zonder dat het bederft. De mix [van culturen] maakt een land zo uniek.
